Twister Cycling Club
Twister Cycling Club was established as a civil association 25th November 2003 in Modra. It has steadily 20-25 riders, many of whom regularly participate in Slovak and international competitions. Club members are assigned to the Olympic preparations for 2012 Olympics, as well as representatives of the Slovak team. The successful development of the club shows the fact that it unite drivers from the surroundings, including Bratislava, Trnava and Piešťany. Cycling club moved its scope from city Modra to village Šenkvice at the end of 2009.
Vision
Focus Bicross sports under one roof, to create conditions for quality training, find talented riders. Focus on training with top riders to participate in the Olympic Games in 2012 and move into the top of world Bicross and Fourcross. Search for young talent and train top riders from them. Help and develope Bicross in Slovakia.
Aim of Twister cycling club is to build a national center for bicross and 4-cross that will meet parameters to organise UCI race in village Šenkvice.
